till the very eeeeend

Yooooo

so as you may or may not know, I came very close to losing my brother just last night.
He was involved in a hit and run, where the driver of the truck deliberately chased him down (truck driving, tayler running) because his truck was accidentally hit with a snowball. Tayler slipped on ice and the truck ran him over and took off. I'm not really sure how he managed to survive, let alone not brake anything but thankfully he is doing alright. The only injury sustained was deep tissue damage to the backs of his legs where the truck ran over him. I think I'm in a state of delusion because I can't really grasp the idea that he almost died. And then I received an e-mail from my mom and she said a few things that really made it real. Honestly, don't sweat the small stuff and really be grateful for every day you have. Aaand everyone you have in your life..my brother and I don't have the most perfect relationship, and being 500 km away it isn't easy to work on making it better but this accident has opened my eyes and my heart to being a better sister. My mom has always said, you can only truly count on family. And once they're gone..what's left?
